Kiahuna Golf Club
(808 742-9595) is a 6,366 yard 18 hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Tee times are 7:00 - 6:30 daily. The
greens fees are discounted after 2:30. Cart is included in the greens fee. The pro shop provides equipment rentals. There
is a driving range and chipping range. Lessons can be arranged and there is a restaurant, Joe's on the Green. In 2001 Golf
Digest awarded this course a 4 star award.
Poipu Bay Golf Course
(808 742-8711) is a 7,039 yard 18 hole course also designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Tee times are 7:00 - 4:00 daily.
The greens fee is discounted after 2:00. Cart is included in the greens fee. The pro shop provides equipment rentals. There
is a driving range and chipping range. There is a locker room and health club available. This is the site of the Grand Slam
of Golf Tournament.
Kukuiolona Park and Golf Course
(808 332-9151) near Kalaheo is a 9 hole public course designed by Toya Shirai in 1948. The beautiful ocean views and the
low price make this course a bargain. During the week it is usually easy to get on, it may be a bit more crowded on weekends.
There are no tee times.
Wailua Municipal Golf Course
(808 241-6666) is located along the eastern shore of Kauai in Kapaa. Voted the best municipal course in the state of Hawaii,
this 18-hole course is has ocean views, ponds and lush trees lining the fairways. A pro shop, practice range, available lessons,
club house, and low fees make this course very attractive.
Pua Kea Golf Course
(808 245-8756) originally designed by Robin Nelson was once placed in the top 10 of domestic 9 hole courses by Sports
Illustrated. This course near Kukui Grove Shopping Center has now been expanded to 18 holes. Tee times are 8:00 - 3:30 daily.
There is a pro shop, equipment rentals, and lessons available. Practice ranges, both driving and chipping are present.
Kauai Lagoons Resort - Kiele Course
(808 241-600) is a 7,070 yard 18 hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This couse has won many awards. Tee times are
7:00 - 2:00. There is a cart included with greens fee. Available also is a pro shop with equipment rentals, lessons, and a
driving range. There is a locker room, restaurant and bar, and health club.
Kauai Lagoons Resort - Mokihana Course
(808 241-6000) is a 6,960 yard 18 hole course also designed by Jack Nicklaus. Tee times are 7:00 - 2:00. A golf cart is
included in the greens fee. Available also is the pro shop with equipment rentals, lessons, and a driving range. There is
a locker room, restaurant and bar, and health club. Winner of numerous awards.
Princeville Prince Golf Course
(808 826-5070) is a 7,309 yard 18 hole course also designed by (you guessed it) Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Tee times are
7:00 - 1:30 summer, 7:30 - 2:30 winter. There is a cart included in the greens fee. Available also is a pro shop with equipment
rentals, lessons, and a driving range. Restaurant and bar and health club are also available. A course for advanced golfers,
it has won awards from Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, and Golf Week.
Princeville Makai Golf Course
(808 826-5070) is a 27 hole course (three 9 hole) designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Tee times are 7:00 - 5:00 nine holes,
7:30 - 2:00 eighteen holes. A cart included. Available also is a pro shop with equipment rentals, lessons, and a driving range.
There is a free pass to the Princeville Club for health club facilities. An award winning course.
